Prior to launching the rebrand of Base, we introduced Brand in the Open, a site that invited 10 selected artists to respond to a single prompt: the blue square. This simple shape, already emerging as our future brand canvas, became a catalyst for open experimentation and dialogue around identity.

We led the project from concept to launch, commissioning artists, shaping the site, and framing it as both a cultural collaboration and a signal of where Base’s brand was headed. The project established transparency, experimentation, and community as central to Base’s design ethos.
